Apart from significant theoretical knowledge and advice for its practical application, the participants had the opportunity to exchange challenges they are faced with, and stress the importance of gender element in working with and for children living and working on the street.

Positive discipline

Valuable education for working with and for children and youth living and working on the street was organized from 27th to 29th June in Konjic, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Representatives of the organizations members of the Regional network participated, and the topic was ‘positive discipline’. Through intensive and interactive work, a theoretical frame was presented, however, practical application of this approach in different developmental stages in children and youth was discussed as well. An insight into this domain will be invaluable both in further work with children living and working on the street, and in communication and cooperation with their parents, guardians and/or other family members
